Above you can see my roll top desk where I work on kits, now removed from that area where Strong will be, and the back wall where the closets are is where Farmington will be. To the right is that same area under demolition to make room for the layout.
Below is the same area after patching and painting walls, putting in the initial benchwork for Strong, and decorating the walls with prints and artefacts and whatnot. Because Franklin County was about logging and lumber, the Narrow Guage, and rusticators at Rangeley, those are the things I like to put up. The green tape line marks where the top of the backdrop will be. |
To the left is the same area as the first photo on this page. Now with benchwork for Avon, Strong, and Farmington in place. Below is storage, with valance in place to make it look less like a storage room and more like a layout room.
To the right is the new home for the roll top desk, until it's time to move it out and extend the rest of the Farmington bench work. |
